“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
As we are getting ready to elect another person to lead our nation for the next four years, I am requesting that we include the presidential election in our daily prayer itineraries and seriously pray that God himself will help us choose a leader after his heart who will be sensitive to the needs of the American people in particular, and the world at large. May God give us a leader who will formulate polices that will help our dwindling economy and foster peace and unity every where. God has promised “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 . Also, remember to pray for the sick and our troops.
