Because he died...

Posted on Fri, Apr 10, 2009

Today and always, I believe that God will give you all the benefits of his glorious death at the cross. But you must have faith in him.

I bring you the message of hope and buoyant life in Jesus Christ today, this Easter Friday. Easter is celebrated world-wide by Christians in loving memory of Jesus Christ. He willingly gave up his saintly life for our sins and triumphantly emerged from the darkness of death three days after he was crucified. It was impossible for death to subdue him. We rejoice in Jesus Christ today and always will adore him as our King and Lord. He offered his life for humanity’s sins two thousand years ago. This happened as he said it would. He is Lord over all things including death.

My friend, Jesus Christ took all our sorrows with him to the cross, and there, he paid the ultimate sacrifice. STOP AND THINK! He paid the penalty for our sins with his life. He bore our sorrows on himself, and died for you and me to live. It is not a philosophical expression that he died for you and me to live. This is a declaration with a divine authority. This declaration is by far greater and weightier than the “Emancipation Proclamation”, the executive declaration by President Lincoln on September 22, 1862 in which he freed all slaves in the Confederate States of America. God in Jesus Christ has freed us from the curse of sin and liberated us for ever from its shackles. HALELUJAH!

At the cross, Jesus Christ became a sin offering for you and me. Thus, he secured our freedom. You could be forgiven today. If you would simply confess your sins to God; we all have sinned, and you know it. Certainly, today, this Easter morning, you could secure a place in the kingdom of God. You only have to obediently own up to your sins and confess them to God. Then, faithfully accept God’s pardon in Jesus Christ.

Today and always, I believe that God will give you all the benefits of his glorious death at the cross. But you must have faith in him.  Be blessed.
