He is coming soon!

Posted on Mon, Mar 4, 2013

"But aren't we all so busy amassing wealth, pursuing happiness, and trying to accomplish all sorts of activities of temporal worth and living as though we have permanent residence here? This world is not where we belong. Sins have wrecked terrible chaos here; it will soon be destroyed".

"It’s been long since I heard or read a message on the return of Jesus Christ. So much on God’s grace, deliverance and prosperity! Who can dispute this? What has a beginning always comes to an end? For instance, we know that our lives began at birth? But sadly, a great number of us are unaware that we are not home yet. “Man is destined to die onceand after that to face judgment”. Hebrews 9:27 But aren’t we all so busy amassing wealth, pursuing happiness, and trying to accomplish all sorts of activities of temporal worth and living as though we have permanent residence here? This world is not where we belong. Sins have wrecked terrible chaos here; it will soon be destroyed. “….the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”. 2 Peter 3:10

Jesus is returning to this world soon. Are you ready for him yet?  “Friends, let us think of and flee from the tremendous wrath of God which will soon overtake all men who are not ready for his return.

Are you a skeptic? Please, stop and consider! One biblical prophet after another foretold the birth of Jesus Christ – from prophets Isaiah to Micah. Despite precision in place and manner of his birth that they foretold; for years, people still doubted that it would ever happen. “But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law” Galatians 4:4

In another instance Jesus Christ himself said this: “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” Matthew 24: 36-41 What must you do?

First, remember by his birth and through his death, Jesus Christ as obtained an eternal salvation for you. He took the punishment for all your sins. He bore them that you might never face the wrath of God. Therefore, do not wait to rid yourself of your faults, no matter how vile. Simply pray like a child would; tell Jesus Christ that you know you are a sinner and that you believe He died on the cross for you – a sinner.

Second, believe that since you have asked him to forgive you according to His word; you are forgiven. Then be assured that you are saved. Romans 10:9, John 3: 14-16.

In our present world and in our sinful and unpardoned state, we cannot satisfy God’s original design for creation: fellowship with Him. That’s why we must be re-created and made ready for where we belong – where Jesus Christ has gone to prepare for us”.
